What can I say? I'd like to renew my connections to other people(/ayakashi) and also do my part in keeping the other residents safe. The flood really highlighted a weak point in the skill set I have available to me.

A shiki contract is a bond between the human and ayakashi based on trust. [which is why Matoba can't get any oooooooooh gottem] I'm afraid it's not something as easily replaceable as that.

You can bring other sentient beings from my world, so why not them?

All I know is that you're concerned with us preventing the spread of the you-know-what, getting us to connect with each other, and keeping everyone in a good mood until then. My shiki will help with that. I guess you'll have to explain it to me, because I'm such a himbo.

The bond goes both ways. And everyone reacts to it differently.

Particularly for a shiki who's been tasked to protect their master.
