Rather than reconnecting severed body parts, he simply grows new ones, which means he leaves many bits and pieces of himself behind. This is played for laughs because Kabane doesn't register that this may disturb people. Kemono Jihen as a series likes to push boundaries wherever it can and includes triggering content such as animal violence, child abuse, sexual abuse, and raising human children as meat.

Content Warning Dead by Daylight is a series in which survivors are pitted against various killers in trials for their lives. If they fail, they're sacrificed to a malevolent Entity which feeds off of hope and despair, and their soul in parts to prolong it. Even should they win the trial, they are simply sent back to a campfire within its realm to wait for their next. There is no escape, and some time instead of sacrificing the survivors, the killers will straight up murder them themselves. While Kate isn't likely to go into detail about it, it's still possible that it might come up in threads. There's a lot of gore in Dead by Daylight, and a lot of PTSD that has been bottled up and put on the shelf so that she can keep going.
